What we do: Care for children
We have been delivering childcare for over 30 years and our aim is to extend the provision of affordable high quality childcare within the Thames Gateway in partnership with Surestart and schools.
What is Sure Start?
Sure Start is a Government initiative for families with children up to the age of 14, including those with special educational needs and for those with disabilities up to age 16.
It brings together early education, child care and health and family support, so the nursery is not only a safe and caring place for a child to be but it also gives children the best possible chance of achieving their potential.
Nurseries
We have three new modern nurseries, one in Temple Hill, linked to the Children’s Centre and one in the centre of Dartford, at the Brent Children’s Centre and one in Oakfield Children’s Centre run in partnership with Surestart and Local Primary Schools.
Pre-school and afterschool at Swanscoombe
We have a sessional pre-school setting at Swanscombe, open 5 sessions a week. We also provide an After school club, 5 afternoons per week.
